I had this problem a couple of days ago and contacted Gawker Support. They had me clear the cache and log back in. It seems to had done the trick.

This was a priority fix which has been taken care of, thanks in part to your help. We're very lucky to have such a strong community who will report these major issues instead of abusing them.
